SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
The Pull Magazine is an online publication celebrating Canadian arts, style, and culture.

Inspiration
We’re passionate about Canadian talent and want to show it to the world. We only want to see the most creative, forward-thinking, quality work to highlight Canadian visionaries and image makers in the arts, fashion and creative industries. Think sleek, sexy, stylish.

Content
Submissions should have a minimum 60% Canadian team and feature at least one Canadian brand, product, or model. We accept editorial submissions based on the criteria below. We do not accept writing submissions. The Pull Magazine reserves the right to accept or deny any submission we receive based on content, quality, relevance, or any other factor we deem reasonable. Please note we only accept exclusive content. Submissions will be cut if they are published in another publication or online. We only accept submissions from the photographer.

Categories
We accept editorials focusing on Fashion, Art, Design, Illustration, and Beauty either On-figure or Off-figure. As a multi-media platform we are also open to video work.

Specs
All photo shoot expenses for a submission to the magazine are covered by the team conducting the project, we do not pay for submissions or photo shoot expenses. We are looking for only unpublished work with the expectation that the submitted work is exclusive to The Pull Magazine. Once your submissions are accepted they must not be posted online or on any social media until the editorial is published.

Submission does not guarantee publication; however we will provide acceptance or refusal notice within 10 business days. We do not provide pull letters for non-commissioned work nor do we accept inquiries with mood boards.

All submissions should be between 6-8 images. If your submissions are over 10 images, we reserve the right to edit as necessary. A title for your story and complete team credits are required: photographer, fashion stylist, makeup artist, hair stylist, model, etc. listed with their respective agencies. Please ensure that all fashion and team credits are correct; we take no responsibility for errors in material issued, or for the publication of inaccurate details.

When submitting your images, attach low res images initially in pdf format. If your story is selected, you will be required to include all creative team credits, as well as all wardrobe credits. If selected, you must also send over all images sized to 1600px width 72dpi and the images must be numbered. If the story has a planned layout that is not typical, please send your images as pre-made spreads (ie one image that includes a two page spread). Title or cover pages are accepted and encouraged if they help to tell the story.

Credits
Once accepted, we will require full credits, including creative team and clothing/accessory credits. We won’t be held accountable for any missing or misspelled credits. Please credit applicable talent/artist agency.

Release
Once an image is accepted to be published, it grants us the permission to use your work in any of our publications, social media, websites, videos, marketing pieces, and any other mediums or formats used in the creation, dissemination, and monetization of The Pull Magazine.

Once a submission is accepted, it must not be published in any website, blog, and/or social media networks until the issue release.
